the issue on wp 2.6.1

yesterday , after activated my new theme , ” Wind A Wind ” , i think i got something wrong with thiz theme , i mean about the blog engine , wordpress 2.6.1 . the theme does’n work in properly , i got messy theme . don’t know why [ yet ] , coz in my localhost thiz theme is still fine .

i decide to ask mr. google , searching bout trouble or problem on wp 2.6.1 . and you know what , i think i’m not the only one . there has been some issue around wp 2.6.1 .

the issue that i heard is somethink bout security and bout export import . i already got trouble with the last one , about export import , don’t know why i got duplicate or missing post when i import the xml after export all the post . and the size is became exploded last export 606kb [ wp 2.5.1 , posting till August 2008 ] became 1281kb [ wp 2.6.1 - posting till Sept 10, 2008 ] , whereas on thiz month actually i only have few post ( archive Sept ‘08 ) .

and after deep thinking and working hard , i decide to upgrade to wp 2.6.2 [ lucky me that the new one has been release ] . i just upgrade it , and don’t care bout the other issue that came up next .

here is that i guess why i got thiz issue . i upgrade wp automatic in localhost then i export , so , i think it did’n fit when import the file [ xml ] . and the other issue is , i think there is a difference about unique phrase on wp-config , in wp 2.5+ only had one unique phrase , SECRET_KEY , in wp 2.6.+ has three unique phrase , AUTH_KEY , SECURE_AUTH_KEY and LOGGED_IN_KEY .

isu seputar wp 2.6.1

kemaren setelah gue pasang theme baru , ” Wind A Wind ” , gue merasa ada yang salah neh dengan ini theme , maksudnya seh engine-nya , wordpress 2.6.1 . theme nggak tertata dengan baik , doh theme gue berantakan . nggak tau kenapa , sebab di localhost gue seh baik baik saja .

gue putuskan buat nanya ke ohm google , dengan keyword trouble ama problem di wp 2.6.1 . dan tau nggak , gue rasa gue nggak sendiri . ternyata emang ada beberapa isu yang menyelimuti wp 2.6.1 cape deh .

isu yang sempet gue denger [ baca ] seh sesuatu tentang security ama export import . yang terakhir seh udah ngerasain , tentang export import , nggak tau napa gue ngedapetin duplikat ato post yang ilang waktu di-import , setelah export tentunya . dan lagi ukuran file nya meledak oi trahir export 660kb [ wp 2.5.1 , posting sd August 2008 ] jadi 1281kb [ wp 2.6.1 - posting sd Sept 10, 2008 ] , padahal bulan ini posting gue juga cuman sedikit ( archive Sept ‘08 ) .

dan setelah berpikir keras dan mengeluarkan cukup banyak energy , gue putusin buat upgrade ke wp 2.6.2 [ beruntung versi terbaru dah release ] . so , gue langsung upgrade aja , and nggak mikirin bakalan apa yang terjadi kelak .

berikut perkiraan gue kenapa kok bermasalah . waktu itu gue upgrade wo otomatis [ pake plugin ] lalu gue export , so , kemungkinan nggak cocok pas proses import file . and masalah laennya , kayanya pengaruh perbedaan unique phrase pada wp-config , di wp 2.5+ cuman punya satu unique phrase , SECRET_KEY , sedang wp 2.6.+ punya tiga unique phrase , AUTH_KEY , SECURE_AUTH_KEY and LOGGED_IN_KEY .
